How to Get More Traffic to Your MySpace Page

"How is it going? I'm Jason Ketchmark from the MySpace 4 Musicians. You know you customize your profile, you want people to see it, so I'm going to show you how to get some traffic to your MySpace page. There's a couple of different ways. So you're on your MySpace homepage, and we'll start with the first way, and it's as simple as just changing your status. A lot of people now are kind of using this hey Jason, Jason's loaded new photos, Jason's out of town, Jason's whatever. So what we're going to do... Jason has some new photos, and go ahead and click done. And now it says status Jason has new photos. And if you go to my page you'll see that right here it says Jason has some new photos so not only when people log into their MySpace homepage they'll see it, but if they go to your page, they'll also see it. It's a great way for people to get to your page, maybe they haven't heard from you in a while. You put that on there and they say oh, Jason's on, let's check out his page. Now another way to do it, and this is a very popular way, is to post a bulletin. So what we're going to do is on the homepage again, click on view mine, and click bulletins, and now this right here would contain all the bulletins from your friends. In this case I don't have any friends so I'm going to go and post the first one. So post bulletin. Subject. Hey guys, check out my profile. I have some cool new photos. Everybody is going to check out my page when they see this. Let's hit post. And confirm it. That's it. It takes a couple of minutes. Let's go back and check this out, it's loading right now, hit refresh a couple of times. There you go. Hey guys, check out my profile, that is how you get people to come to your profile. Now other ways you get traffic to your page is simply just give out your MySpace URL. Nowadays, pretty much MySpace has become the business card of 2008 so any time you're applying for a job, whether you're a band or whatever the case is, people are going to check your profile whether you like it or not, which is why you customize it. So if you are a band, if you have a venue coming up, give the venue your MySpace URL. If you're not a band or something else, you know submit your MySpace URL, put it on a business card, you know, if you have a website, all that kind of stuff. Just kind of get that MySpace URL out there so that people will basically go to your page, check out what you have, and maybe you'll get some friends.
