Hi this is Laura Turner and today I'm going to talk to you about how to write a five paragraph essay. This is probably the most important type of essay for you to know how to write because whenever you are writing for a test, you are most likely going to be writing five paragraphs or three paragraphs in some cases. To constitute an essay that is handwritten on the test. So listen carefully, writing a five paragraph essay is just like writing any other kind of essay or even writing a paragraph. My advice is always that each paragraph should be, should have a beginning a middle and an end. And that in a five paragraph essay you should start off with your first paragraph as your intro in which you give at least in this case, if it's a five paragraph essay, you will actually be giving three body paragraphs. You'll be giving the actual ideas in your intro so you'll lay it all out in your very first paragraph. Then in your three paragraphs in the middle so now we are up to four, you will illustrate all the details and be sure to sort of self contain your paragraphs. Make each paragraph about different detail. So you've got three details that are very strong supporting your introduction. And then for your fifth paragraph is your conclusion. Probably the easiest form of essay that you could write because it gives you it all right there. You have your intro, your three body paragraphs and then your conclusion at the very end. And hopefully that will help you not only construct an essay on a test very quickly but also very easily, very efficiently and to get the most out of it. So good luck.
