"Hi, I'm John with ExpertVillage.com and we're changing spark plugs. Now we know how our ignition system works, we got to remove the spark plug wires. And when you remove them, that's going to be four open holes to the engine. We don't want any random chunks of anything, dust, anything getting inside our engine. So let's clean it off beforehand. This isn't too bad, so we're going to blow it off and wipe it down. If it's really bad, you just want to take it to a car wash and give it a good blast. So right now, lets just wipe it off with this rag. It's not going to be too bad, there's not a lot of stuff. Make sure there's nothing falling from here, let's just wipe it all off. And if you have it, just shoots air, lets just blow it off. Alright, so now it's clean. Also another thing you got to remember, is before you even get inside there, is your engine gets piping hot. And it takes a long time for the inside of your engine where your spark plug is to cool down. So give your car about at least an hour. I've done it when it's really hot, and it's not good. So let your car cool down, and make sure it's clean."
