"Hey, I'm Chelsea Bagozzi, with suburbanheresy.com, and we're talking a little bit about beauty and makeup tips today, and right now, we're going to talk about applying foundation, and also how to choose the right foundation color, for your skin. It's really important when choosing foundation, to match the color of your foundation, to your neck. Not to the back of your hand, and not to your face, but to your neck. The skin on your hands is not the same color as the skin on your face, and also, your neck tends to be a little bit lighter than your face. A lot of people try to look tan, from their foundation, and you never want to do that, because then you end up being the girl with the line, and nobody wants to be that girl, so what we're going to do, is I've got three different foundation colors, and I'm going to make three lines on her neck, and the color that disappears into her skin, is the color that we're going to want to use, so as you can see, there's three different colors, and the one that disappears on her neck, is the third one that I used. It's the lightest color, and it might seem a little bit pale, but that's ok, because you can use bronzer to add some depth into your skin, and to give you more of a tan look. I'm going to use a spatula to apply this foundation, and I'm going to use a foundation brush, and I like foundation brushes, but just like with moisturizer, it's not really necessary on yourself, to use a foundation brush, to apply your foundation. I actually think it goes on a little bit smoother, to use your hands, so just make sure that your hands are clean and sanitized, before you touch your face, and then you just want to apply it in a downward motion. I'm going to get this as close to her eye as I can, so that there's not any dark circles, around her eyes."
