"Hi, my name is Tod Amazeen, I've been a Internet business consultant for 15 years. I'm going to show you how to backup your Internet Explorer favorites. First open Internet Explorer by double clicking on the icon on your desktop. Once Internet Explorer is open, click on file, scroll down and click on, import and export, now we're going to click on next, and since we're going to be backing up our favorites or our bookmarks, I'm going to click on export favorites, on the list on the left, then I'm going to click on next. This screen allows us to choose which of our favorites we're going to backup, you can backup the entire favorites list, or you can select sub-folders, I'm going to backup the entire favorites list, so I click on favorites, and then I click on next. Now we can choose where to save our exported file from, we click on browse, and you get the typical save window, I'm going to choose desktop, and you can also choose a filename, I'm going to choose the default, but if you want to change it, simply delete what's here and retype. Now we're going to click on save, and now we'll click on next, and now we'll click on finish. You get a confirmation dialog box, and you click okay. Now that we've exported our favorites, I'm going to minimize my Internet Explorer, and you'll see that I've saved to my desktop, and here's bookmark.htm. Now in order to truly back this up, you want to save it to an external drive, or burn it to a DVD or a CD. You've just learned how to backup Internet Explorer favorites. I'm Tod Amazeen."
