How to Change DNS Servers at Go Daddy

"Hi, my name is Ted Amazeen, I've been an Internet business consultant for 15 years, I'm going to show you how to change DNS servers at Go Daddy. Navigate to godaddy.com in any web browser. In the, my account section on the right hand side of the screen, click in the customer number, or login name box, and type in your customer number. Hit tab, or click in the password box, type in your password, and click, secure login. In the upper left hand side of the screen click on, domains, scroll down and click on, my domains, this is going to take you to the domain management section of the website. I have three domains that I manage, you may only have one, or you may have more than three. We're just going to change the DNS entries for, girls and gear TV, I'm going to click on that entry. In the center section, under the name servers listing, you'll see the name server or the DNS servers listed, simply click on one of those, and you'll be taken to a new screen. On this new screen you'll see that the name servers or DNS servers are listed, right here, and right here. In order to change them, simply highlight the name, hit the backspace button, and type in the new domain servers. Now the DNS servers or name servers will have been give to you by your new hosting company. Occasionally hosting companies will give you more than two domain servers, or name servers, in that case simply type in the third here. When you're done, click okay. You get a confirmation message letting you know that your changes have been submitted. While the message says, allow a few minutes for the changes to take effect, sometimes it takes up to 72 hours for the new name servers to populate across the Internet.
