"Hi, I'm Veronica Barogas with my wiggles and giggles dot com. Today, I'm going to share with you how to take a road trip with a baby. First I would start off with getting a good feel of where your going, how long it may take, travel time, things like that. Make sure that you can plan ahead for rest stops, fresh air, you know, breaks for you guys. It can get a little tense in the car at times. So, allow plenty of travel time. You can also do a check list and think of things ahead of time so that you're fully prepared that when you go on the trip that you know that you have everything. I would try to get a check list and provide snacks, plastic bags for dirty diapers or in case your child gets sick. I would take care of bottled water. You can use it for cleaning up or if you need formula for your bottle making, I would use single packets of formula. If you're breast feeding, I would try to travel with a small cooler, toys, books and music that your child may be interested in. Also allow for plenty of time for fresh air and frequent stops in case you need to breastfeed or just kind of stretch your legs. I'd also prepare a diaper bag full of wipes and extra clothes, diapers, of course, bottles, anything that you know that you may need including pacifiers to help calm or soothe and in case, you know, they spit up or get dirty. You always want to make sure you have a pair of cleanup clothes for them, and also, just make sure that you have plenty of patience. It's going to be a rough trip. It could be, depending on how prepared you are. But, also, you know, just expect mishaps or what not; little tem, temtrum, tantrums. So, either way, just, you know, get yourself a little check list, and make sure, that you're well prepared before you take your trip. So, that's what I would do in order to take a road trip with my baby."
