"All Origami starts off from traditional bases the very foundations of the Origami and my name is Robert Segundo and today I'm going to teach you how to make the Pig Base. If you look down here you can see I have my piece of paper set up. What we're going to do, it's square. And what we're going to do is we're going to take this and fold this in half like this this is called a book fold. Basically this is not really a simple base this is more of a complex base. So we're going to open this up, do another book fold this way as well, there we go and we're going to open it up and then what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and take this and we're going to sheet fold this or shaw fold it into a shaw base or sheet base. I know as sheet base many people call it shaw base but whatever and if your not careful you'll rip your paper like I did right there. So now that we've done that we're going to open it back up. We are going to go ahead and sheet bend it or shaw bend it back this way as well. There we go. Now what we're going to do is we're going to open this up and since we have our corner triangles like this we're going to go ahead an fold our points into the center like so. The same thing here and here we go. Lets flip this over and we're going to fold these corners towards the back center point as well. Now all this doesn't really mean a whole lot all we're doing right now is just creating crease folds for when we go into our base. Like I said this is very complex simple base so what we're going to do is fold this back open, now that we have our lines here we're going to go ahead and fold our squares in like so. Now what we're going to basically do is you're going to open this up and fold these out like so. This is a hybrid canoe base or whatever and when we fold this section open like so this will be our finished pig base. There you go. You can do all kinds of stuff with this. The base starts many pieces including the pig. So play around with it, have fun and enjoy."
