"Ever wanted a bird but didn't want to have all that responsibility. Hi my name is Robert Segundo and today I'm going to teach you how to fold an origami bird. We are going to start with a square piece of paper like I have here. And as you can see it's already pre creased. And what you are going to do is you are going to basically fold this like this, we are going to go into the simple I can't remember if this is the fish or the kite base but anyway. You are going to fold over, first you are going to take your paper really and you are going to fold it in half like so towards the triangle. Then open it back up. Then fold your edges in like so. Then what you are going to do is you are going to flip your paper over, you are going to fold your top piece down towards the back. Grab your paper flip it back over. And then you are going to take your points here and you are going to fold them down until they reach the center points again. Like so. As you can see my paper wasn't completely square cut because the edges aren't really lining up. Once you do that you are going to open it back up, and basically what you are going to do is you are going to open this and you are going to squash fold it like so bringing this edge back down towards the center. Like so on both sides. There you go now you have a good start, now take these leg pieces here which will be the legs and without ripping your paper like I just did, you are just going to kind of fold them up. Like so.Then we're going to do, actually lets fold them towards the back. Make it a little bit easier if we do that. Now just take it fold your model over like so and as you can see the bird shape is starting to happen. Now from here what you are going to do is basically you are just going to take the crease down the beak like so. Then you can play with the tail you know doing, doing some, do it like that. Open it up, press it down like that, get the bird a little depth in it's tail. And there you have it.Your origami bird. And if you do it's tail right he'll stand up. My name is Robert Segundo and enjoy folding your origami bird."
