"Hi, this is Laura Turner and today we're going to talk about how to get in to a top college or a university. If you want to go to college, you want to go to the best college possible, right? So what you should do is first start by studying in high school. I believe that I got in to the college that I got in to because I had the best grades I could possibly have. This is very hard for people in high school. High school is tough. I had a tough time myself but if you just keep yourself on track, you can get in to that college that you want to get in to almost solely on studying. But there are some other things you can do also if your grades aren't as good or if you want to look even more attractive to the schools that you want to get in to. Second thing you can do is to volunteer for your community. To become the most upstanding citizen that you can and be as attractive to that school as you can in that way. Number three, apply for scholarships. Figure out what scholarships you can use to get in to that school if you need the funds in order to get in. Number four, take challenging courses in high school. Not only just the things that are required and doing well on those but also taking your AP courses and things like that that will look good to the college. Number five, try to ace those standardized tests. I sort of loath standardized tests. And a lot of people dislike taking them but they're very important and they show up, your high scores on those will show up and will sort of put you at the top of the stack for this applications. And number six, write a very serious letter of inquiry to the college. When you state why you want to go to college, try to be as honest as possible in what you think you want to do there. And also try to represent yourself as well as you can. And number seven, I suppose is pray. Thank you."
