"Hi this is Laura Turner and today we are going to talk about how to establish a writing schedule for a romance novel. Now as with a romance novel or any other kind of writing the most important thing is to set aside time for you to do this work because writing novels can take years and years and years if you don't set aside some time each day to work on it. What I suggest and this is what I do when I write either fiction or plays, I set aside some time each day during the week either at night or early in the morning to write. Just give yourself that goal. Sit down and say I would like to write a chapter a day. Then figure out how long it's going to take you to write that chapter, say it's going to take you three hours to write a chapter a day. So go ahead and try to block out your set of time. If you are most inspired during the evening try to say from seven to ten I'm going to do nothing but write. And then what you can also do for yourself is give yourself a reward. You can either treat yourself to a night out, dinner, or something like that. At the end of your writing week to give yourself a little incentive, it's kind of like studying in a way. You have to set aside time to do this thing that you want to do cause you want to do well, but you don't have all the time in the world to do it. So in especially it's really difficult to write creatively when you have a really busy schedule. So figure out does the early, early morning work for you or does the very late evening work for you. When are you most inspired and when do you have the most energy, if you hate mornings you may not want to wake up at five every morning to do your romance novel writing. You may not be as inspired."
