How to Choose a Topic for a Senior Thesis

"Hi this is Laura Turner and today I'm going to talk to you about how to choose a topic for your senior thesis. Now our senior year of either high school or college for most of us is probably the most difficult as far as figuring out how to keep your interests and your morale going while graduation is looming. So my best advice number one for picking a senior thesis is to pick something that interests you the most. Pick something that you know you want to work on, even outside of school. Pick something that you believe is relevant to the world. Depending on your concentration or your major or whatever you are doing in school you will have different things that you'll need to do. If you are an actor for example, you'll want to pick a part that you'll present that will express all the facets of your self. Something that will challenge you as well as express you and express what you've learned through your four years of college. The same goes I think for other disciplines for example, political science, pick something that is relevant to the world today. Something that encompasses everything that you've learned from all of your classes. Something that you think is important even outside of school and that will help you to sort of pick things that you can actually focus on in your last year of school. So get writing on it."
