How to Buy a 35th Year Wedding Anniversary Gift

"Are you having a hard time trying to figure out what to get for that 35th wedding anniversary? My name is Blake Kennedy, and I'm with Kennedy Brothers Estate Services. 35 years is an awfully long time to be married. And it's that special year of the jade. It's something we should buy a piece of jewelry with jade in it, but let's maybe think of something different because throughout those 34 years that you've been married before then, you've probably gotten her a lot of jewelry. But jade comes in other forms. If you buy a nice solid Asian jade figure or statue, that would be a great gift that you can put in your house, and you can enjoy it all year round. Jewelry, you wear every once and awhile, and you like it when it's on you. But imagine having a nice piece of Asian art, a piece of jade, in your house. You've got to be careful, though, when you're buying jade because you don't want to buy a reproduction piece of jade. Just because it's green does not mean it's jade. So when you go to an antique shop or collector shop, if it seems like the price is too good on that, then it's probably a reproduction jade. So make sure you ask around and find out where's a nice place that I can buy a jade figurine. And if you can't find one, don't worry about.
