"Joel Hickerson from grindog.com. We're going to draw a princess monkey. You draw the head maybe just a little bigger, in a big circle, and then the muzzle maybe just a little smaller then normal for a monkey. Big eyes, because big eyes usually helps you to accentuate the cuteness. OK, and a little nose, a little smile, maybe a little attitude since she is a princess. Alright, and what do princesses have, a crown. Nice little half circles all the way around, connect it to her head. Come around, and maybe a little crown on top. Alright, now a monkey isn't a monkey unless it has big ears, princess or no princess. So remember the ears. Come down a nice dress, maybe holding a septor, or in this case, since she's a monkey, you want to keep her looking like a monkey, let's make it a banana. Alright, so she's holding a banana in one hand, and remember the princess attitude. She's going to have her little hand on the hips, maybe a stole around the shoulders. Feet coming out from under the dress, a little princess tail. Now don't worry about when you draw construction lines, because if you have too many of them, or if they don't go exactly where you want to go, because when you start with a marker, construction lines really are just guide lines. OK, you're going to end up erasing them anyway. So nice eyebrows, a little bit of attitude, or eyelashes, I'm sorry. Small nostril, small smile, little bitty muzzle, and don't forget the monkey ears, that's what makes our princess a monkey. OK, the royal banana. The stole. The little spots actually add to the royal look. We're really seeking here is to not only make this look lie a monkey or a princess, but both. So you've got to incorporate elements from monkeys as well as princesses. And how a princess, or how a monkey might act as a princess. Her little tail coming out from underneath, toes. Alright, muzzle coming across. Keeping with the attitude, as well as maybe some hair, long flowing princess hair. You don't really catch on the monkeys. And the crown, which is a very important part of being a princess. And that's how you draw a princess monkey."
