"Hi, I'm Tim Gipson, and I'm going to talk you about, how to fix a washing machine that may walk across the floor. Now there's a couple of things, typically if you have a washing machine that's starting to shake enough or to walk, it's usually caused by an unbalanced load. Now in this particular washing machine here, this is a front loading washing machine, these are less susceptible to that type of problem since it rotates in a vertical fashion, but if you still- you can have a lot of movement from side to side on this. Now the first thing that you can do is when you set up your washing machine, is to make sure that it's making good contact or balance. So you want to be able to take opposite corners of this or front and back, as you can see this one is nice and sturdy on the floor, so it does not rock back and forth at all, so it's very important to make sure that your washing machine has a good footing on the floor. Down here at the bottom, if you do have some rocking, any rocking motion in your washing machine, there are adjustable feet down here on the bottom, so with the adjustable feet down here, you can just take a crescent wrench, and you can rotate those either counter clockwise to bring it up, or clockwise to actually extend it. Now in the course of using that if you do have your washing machine and it's still moving quite a bit, if you're do some heavy loads, particularly when you're doing towels, or lots of jeans, if you hear a very loud kind of banging or shaking sound, it means that you're load has just gotten out of balance. So you want to stop your load, you want to redistribute the clothes, and then you can either start it again. Now many times if you're into the rinse cycle when you find that, you might want to go back and rewash your clothes, because they may have- with them all getting clumped together like that, they may not wash that great. So, essentially that's the couple of things that you run into, and just to keep you washing machine from walking. So I'm Tim Gipson, and that's a couple of tips on how to keep your washing machine from walking across the floor."
