"Hi, my name is Veronica Baragas, with mywigglesandgiggles.com, and I want to share with you today on how to become an after school childcare worker. Now, there is a long process that can go into this. You will have to have certain credentials, and depending on where it is that you're going to be an after school worker you know, it'll it'll range from experience. I would definitely recommend and hope that most mandatory is CPR and first aid certified, at least two years of experience. And once again, it could depend on where it is that you're trying to become a childcare worker. I would check with your local Department of Family and Protective Services, cause' they usually regulate a lot of your daycare schools, and depending if you go independently. So, I would definitely freshen up on some you know child care classes maybe, but definitely get CPR, first-aid certified, and make sure you have a couple of references, education, resume. All of those definitely benefit in finding, or you know in getting a childcare worker job. I think the most probably would be after school care at your local, you know ISD, independent school district. But just look around; make sure that you have all your credentials, and a good background check. I'm sure they'll do that. So, make sure that you have everything together before you decide to apply, and find out what it's going to take to be a childcare, after school childcare worker."
