"Hi, I'm Veronica Baragas with my wigglesandgiggles.com, and I just want to give you a few tips on some after school care ideas that you can do with your kids. Of course there's always extended care or extended hours care at your school, so if you don't have the opportunity to pick your kids up after school, you can always figure out what your local school district offers. Something also that the kids really enjoy is, afters school activities like dance, soccer, basketball, football, depending on what age group they are in, once again, the school offers a lot of activities, so keeping them active is also nice. You can also do play dates, schedule it once a week or once a month or however often, get to know some of the parents in the community and schedule play dates, so that the kids can also get to know other kids in their school, or in the neighborhood. You can also do activities like walking around the neighborhood, getting to know other kids, it's just a wide variety, depending on what your kids likes, and depending on what you have time for, what you can afford, there's a lot of free- check out your local YMCA, and just kind of look on-line for local activities or events going on in your neighborhood. So there are plenty of activities for after school care, you just got to research and I'm sure you're kids will find something they'd like to get into."
