How to Get Victoria's Secret Hair

"Hi, my name is Lauren, and I'm here to tell you how to get Victoria's Secret hair. You're going to start it when you get out of the shower and your hair's wet, you're going to start by using some sort of volumizing product, whether it be a mousse or a gel. You are going to flip your head over, and using a vent brush, you are going to brush your hair vigorously going this way, this way, and then this way. What you are trying to do is lift at your roots so when that way, when you flip your hair back, you have a lot of volume. After you dry most of your root, plus go through some of your ends, your hair should be about 80 percent dry on your ends and completely dry on your root. After you are done with that, you are going to use a round brush, twirl the hair around your round brush, use your blower in order to heat it up. Usually, a ceramic or ionic brush would actually do best because it'll help with frizz and also help set your curl. I like plastic bristles, although boar's head is still very okay because it does promote smoothness. So then you would hold that up, you would heat it up, and then you would actually use your cold button and cool it back down. After you've cooled it back down, you are simply going to unwind your brush. Take that curl that you just made, and you are going to set it. This is going to help with the volume. This is also going to help with a bit of a curl at the end. Depending on the amount of curl you want depends on the diameter of the brush that you use. A lot of curl, you're going to use a smaller diameter brush. Medium curl, you're going to use a large...medium diameter brush. And just a soft wave, you'd use a larger. Again, once I'm done, I'm going to roll it up, and you're going to do your entire head like this in order to set your curls in place and keep your volume. After we are done with the entire head, you are simply going to release the clips, shake out the hair. You're going to use a little bit of spray in order to create that volume and that softness that they have. And you're going to use a curling iron in order to do any finishing touches -- any bit of areas where you want a little bit more of a curl at the end, you're going to use that curling iron and bring it down. That way, you can get the nice, soft, tousled wave look, still with a lot of volume and a lot of flow to the hair. And that is how you get Victoria's Secret hair."
