"Hi, my name is Lauren, and today I'm here to talk to you about how to apply homemade hair treatments for thinning hair. First, I'm just going to go over a few treatments that you can use at home. Apple cider vinegar and sage tea, if you mix the two, you can use it as a rinse. It acts as a antiseptic and a natural cleanser, so it'll actually help grow your hair. So, any things that you're losing, or if you're having trouble having your hair grow, it'll actually help have your hair grow. You use it as a rinse. You simply put it in your hair, and then you rinse it right out. Almond oil is another really great thing to use. You'd have to massage it into your scalp two to three times a day, and it'll prevent hair loss. Honey and egg yolk is also a great mixture that you can put together. You would massage that into your scalp as well, leave it for a half hour, and then rinse it out. The most important part of applying any one of these is the actual massage that you do with it. By massaging the scalp, you stimulate the blood circulation into your hair, and into your scalp. The scalp is actually one of the most neglected areas of your body, because people do not take care of it. The only time that it ever gets much attention, is when they're shampooing, and then they get a little bit of a massage. You can really work at putting that massage, increasing your blood circulation which will then feed your papilla, which is a bulb that is on the bottom of your hair shaft. The bulb on the bottom of your hair shaft is what supplies your hair with it's nutrients. Once you get blood into this, flowing, it will then oversupply or supply more nutrients to the papilla, which will allow your hair to not only stay healthy, stay attached to your follicle, it will also help it grow and remain healthy. In order to give the scalp massage, you want to do circular motions around the head. You want to work your way from the top all the way down. You can also do criss-cross, where you interlace your fingers, apply a little bit of pressure, and create some of that massage. There's a few other ways that you can do it. Another way is you can also use your hands and kind of tug a little bit, which will stimulate the scalp, and it will also increase that blood circulation. So, that is how to apply your homemade hair treatments for thinning hair."
