"Hi, my name is Lauren and today I'm going to discuss how to make twists in hair. Depending on the look you want, depends on how your twists are actually going to be formed. If you're looking for a little bit more of a headband effect or just kind of tighter twists to the head, you're going to section the hair into smaller sections. Just in order to make your job a little bit easier, I would clip the outside sections so that way the other hair does not interfere you've already sectioned away. You are going to need a tail comb in order to do this. You would grab the section, hold it straight up. You're going to take your tail comb, lay it fresh against your scalp. Raise it above. You're going to actually grab the hair in between your fingers and twist your comb. Then, you would simply pull your comb out, and you already have that nice twist. You would then use a bobby-pin, open it up and insert it into the twist in order to keep your twist there all day. Now, you can also do looser twists in the hair. The looser twist, you don't necessarily need to use your tail comb. I would still maybe use your tail comb for sectioning, especially if you want a very straight part or even a zig-zag part, which you would then simply bring your tail comb back and forth. Lift it up and then pull out those sections so you get that nice zig-zagged section. For looser twists, you can simply just twist the hair. Something that I like to do is just use your fingers, twist it and then I'll even kind of push it up in order to give it a softer look. Again, you're going to open up your bobby-pin and you are going to insert it into the twist in order for it to stay. And that is how you get two different types of twists through your hair."
