"Hi, my name is Lauren and today I'm going to tell you how to have smooth hair. There are many products on the market these days that can actually help you get smooth hair. A lot of them tend to be a little bit of a silicone base, which actually adds shine to the hair, as you can see the shine on my hand and will help smooth down your hair. Now, you can put these products in your hair when their hair is still damp in order to help for the smoothness. A great way to smooth your hair is to begin it while you're blow-drying it. As you're blow-drying your hair to dry it, what you would like to do is that every button has a bit of a cold shot on it. You want to hit that cold shot. The heat is going to open up your cuticle in order to help straighten your hair and style your hair. Once that piece of hair is dry, your cold shot is going to close that cuticle. Frizz is when your, cuticle shaft opens. Another good way to prevent it is to use leave-in conditioners. If you think of your hair to be like a sponge, if your hair is continuously being nourished with moisture, your cuticle is not going to open up in order to grab some more moisture from the air because that essentially is what frizz is, so you can use your oil based. They also come in a little bit more of a creamier consistency, a little waxier. So you have more of your waxes, and then you have like your creams. All of these, using a little bit 'cause they are a bit on the heavier side. You don't want to make your hair look oily or greasy. You would rub it through your hair in order to help tame and smooth after you finish your drying. Another great way in order to promote smoothness is to use your flat iron. You would spray your hair with a thermal protestant in order to prevent your hair from being damaged because of the intense heat and you would simply go through all of your ends, section by section, in order to just create a little bit of smoothness just on your ends. After you are done, you can then finish it off with a little bit of spray or a little bit more product and your ends remain smooth throughout the entire day. And that is how to create a smooth hair style."
