How to Give a Man a Simple Haircut

"Hi my name is Lauren and today I'm going to tell you how to give a man a simple haircut. The simplest haircut for a man is possibly to use your clippers. Clippers come with different blades on them. They're usually a range of different sizes. The shorter the blade, or these little pokes right here, the shorter the hair is actually going to be. What you are then going to do if you're not shaving their entire head, if you are, you simply turn the clipper on and you start shaving it and you maybe want to go over it about two or three times just to make sure that all hairs have been taken off. If you are not, then you are going to take a comb and you are going to simply place it by like near the temple or the curve of the head and you are going to take your clippers, put them flush against the scalp, work your way up and then pull them out a little bit as you come to get that comb. What that is going to do its going to help you blend as you go up and blend those sides into that bit of that longer top. Again, flush to the scalp, go up and then work your way out. Again this would be like a level three for the actual clippers which would be pretty short. You would still not see skin though so it is one of the higher ones. Once you are done with your clippers, you can then take your scissors and then you would actually cut into the hair in points by point cutting into it. What point cutting will do will avoid any lines but it will also help remove length. Again you want to use professional haircutting shears because you cannot, if you use your kitchen scissors, you are going to end up fraying the ends. The haircutting shears are usually a little bit sharper and will do nice, clean, precision cutting. And that is how to give a man a simple haircut."
