"My name is Lauren and today I'm going to tell you how to create a Sedu hairstyle. Sedu is a manufacturer for flatirons. Basically they help maintain those tasseled wave looks, they help control frizz and loosen up your curl and remove your curl from your hair for very curly hair. You would start off by sectioning your hair to about an 8th to about a quarter of an inch or a quarter to a half. You would like to make sure that the actual width of your section is no larger than the width of your plates of your flatiron. You would then use a protectant, spray it on the hair. It make it a little bit easier and a little bit more effective if you use a comb as well that way you're smoothing as you go and you're also pulling out any knots so you're not going over them with your flatiron. You can also grab a hold of that hair where you don't burn your hands because it won't be hot with that comb and go in a bit of a rotating motion between comb and flatiron. Then you use your comb, comb it down flat. Grab your next section. Again use your thermal protectant, you want to protect your hair when doing this. Using a straight iron is equivalent to putting your hand on a stove so because of the intense heat you do want to protect your hair otherwise over prolonged use you could possibly damage it. You want to have the comb follow through, grab it so that way you can go around for one more time. Go down and comb it down. You continue this all the way around your hair from going from bottom to top working towards the crown of your head. You may also depending on your hair texture, want to adjust the temperature. Sedu's goes up until about 420 degrees. I suggest if you have fine hair you may want to leave it a little bit lower on the temperature and if you have coarser, thicker hair, you may want to go a little bit higher on temperature. You'll know what you can do in order to adjust it. If your hair is a little coarser and its on a lower temperature and if its not straightening, then you want to bump the temperature up a bit. But for fine hair, you can usually leave it on a bit of a lower temperature. You don't need as much heat in order to create the style. And that is how to create a Sedu hairstyle."
