First off, what you're going to want to do is maybe get away from smoking. Maybe smoking is causing it. Maybe you're just around too much dry air, or maybe the air in your apartment or home is not very clean, and you may want to look into buying an air filter or a humidifier. Those are just simple treatments, but what to do it to look at maybe there's something causing it like they said, smoking. You may want to look at the back of your throat with a flashlight or have someone look at it for you, if you see redness or spots or anything, that could be a sign that it's something more serious. Certain things to do, increase your fluid intake, maybe that'll help you cause more fluid production in your throat.
