"If you feel a cold coming on and need maybe some little help getting rid of it fast, we're going to try to go through that today on how to get rid of a cold fast. I'm Dan Carlson, I'm a nurse. What the first thing you're going to want to do is increase fluids right away, start taking maybe a lot more orange juice than you're used to, being that it's high in vitamin C or just take a vitamin C tablet if you don't feel comfortable drinking orange juice. Other things you can do is increase your rest, make sure you're taking it a lot more easy, don't really exert yourself a lot more often than you should. Go see a physician or maybe talk to your pharmacist as they can help you with certain medications that would be more helpful to you treating your symptoms in the beginning of a cold. Also, you know, just take it easy, try to get a little rest and stay away from work. Basically you're going to want to increase fluids, rest, take any medications that you think may help the symptoms or vitamin C and other herbal supplements to help prevent more of a worse cold. See a doctor if it continues getting to be too bad of a cold. How to ease a cold fast, I'm Dan Carlson."
