"Decorating for your wedding depends on how much is your budget and how much you can really spend on your decor. Things to remember about your decor is a lot of times flowers will play a big role. And one of the things you also have to decide is if you want fresh or silk flowers. Silk flowers are a lot easier if you're doing it yourself and you're able to place them in whatever location beforehand. When using a florist, the prices can get up there because they're doing most of their work the day of and delivery. So just remember, if you don't have a very big budget, you might want to get smaller arrangements. And another alternative is to save money. If you do have a big budget is to have large centerpieces on your table on certain tables and smaller ones and it gives a very dramatic effect between tables. Another thing is your colors play a huge role in your decor. Things like tool and candles and flowers really make that room shine. Whether you're decorating for your ceremony at a church, remember things like where you can put flowers. Do you want decor on the pews, like pew bows. What type do you want? Will they stay? You don't want things falling off in the middle of the ceremony. If you're going to have an aisle runner, do you want petals on it? And these are things you also have to discuss with the location. In order to really figure out decor for your reception, think about lighting as an alternative to fabric. Lighting really brings out a room and you can get it at any color. With uplighting, they really makes the room shine. Also, think about linens for your tables. They will really make a room pop with different types of colors and different types of fabrics. There's a lot of linen books out there. There's also companies that do delivery of linens so you don't have to worry about setting it up or cleaning them. So just think ahead of time of what colors you need, what your budget is and what exactly you want, because flowers are beautiful but roses can be very expensive. You might want to think of alternatives like maybe feathers, if you're going to have some sort of whimsical wedding or branches if you're going to have a natural wedding. So flowers are not always what you need to use but just keep in mind what kind of location you're at and what you can afford."
