"The first thing you need to do before you start anything is make an ultimate check list for your wedding. This will include everything from a time line until the date of your wedding and the first thing you need to know is how many people are you going to invite to your wedding which will be making a very very long list of people. Make a few lists. Made an A, B, and C list. The A list are the people you have to invite, the B list are the people you want to invite and the C list are the people that do not necessarily need to be invited but if you can invite them it would be nice to have them. You are going to want your budget on that checklist and that will include everything from attire to your ceremony location to your reception location, your gifts for your attendance, photographer, videographer, caterer, everything that will be included in that including flowers as well. You want to make sure that that is on your checklist. Other things on your checklist that come closer to the date of the wedding is getting your marriage license, getting your rings, making sure that you get everything in order to change your name. Also to remember your honeymoon, pack for your honeymoon, things on your checklist like when to send out the date cards, when to send your invitations, what else you might need on there would be when to meet with the florist, the times, when to meet with your caterer, when to do your final tastings for your cakes. Make sure you have everything that can possibly happen on that list and check it off as you go through it. There is a lot of resources on line where you can find budget planners and checklists. Theknot.com has a great one and also other places that you can find those easy step by step ways to make your wedding work for you."
