"My name is Jill Weiss, and I'm going to tell you a little bit about, how to play right field. It's just like with every out field position, you want to make sure that you're always moving, so you can react to the ball. The right fielder is very important because they're backing up first base, they may have to back up second base, and they're also communicating with center field on trying to stop balls from passing the out field, therefore, preventing any runs. So when they are backing up first, they want to make sure that they're getting there quickly, whether a third basemen, whether a second basemen, whether a shortstop, whether the catcher, whether the pitcher is throwing to first base, they have to line themselves up with the throw. They also have to take in account the fence, depending on, if there's a fence kind of near by, they got to be able to react if the ball kind of does gets passed, and it hits the fence, they got to be able to react to it, and not let it pass them. As far as the throw goes, you have a very long throw to home plate, so either you are going to get it all the way to the catcher, or you are going to give them kind of a one hopper. Now depending on if it's- taking into account, how many people are on base, how many outs there are, what inning you're in, those are types of things that you always have to be thinking about. Now if you have somebody that may be in scoring position, you got to be kind of on the run, you got to create yourself, position of the throw, to be able to throw home; look it in, and then make the throw. Now you also want to make sure that you position yourself underneath the ball, okay, use two hands all the time, look the ball all the way into the glove, make sure that you see it in, make the throw. My name is Jill Weiss, and those are just some tips on, how to play right field."
