"When cleaning your horse's ears, the best thing to use is probably a towel because it's soft and flexible. So I'll really be able to get into the nooks and crannies of your horse's ears. If you horse is tall like ours here, its probably a good idea to use a step stool so that you can get up high enough. If your horse is really fearful of you working around his ears, it's also a good idea to take him off of the cross ties because the last thing you want is for them to get scared and then come back and break the cross ties. So now we'll just step up and just make sure your horse is comfortable with the towel around his eye and head and just slowly work your way into the ear area. And we're just going to get kind of the dust and whatever dirt has settled inside. She actually seems to enjoy this. And then we'll just move to the other side and once again, you want to make sure you're careful and slow because horses can be sensitive around their eyes and ears. And again, just cleaning out the dust and dirt. And making sure you don't reach too far down where you could hurt something."
