"Buy a six pack of airline tickets. How to have a successful long distance relationship. This is Dr. Paul, author of "Boomer Girls, a Boomer woman's guide to men and dating", nationwide talk show host, and relationship consultant. You have to see the other person in a long distance relationship. That's why I said, buy a six pack of airline tickets, and they, and they have them for people who are in business. You get a discount for buying six. So, you get three round trips. See them once a month, every six weeks. You have to do that, if want it to succeed, you have to have personal contract. Once a year is not good enough. If you live in Seattle and she lives in New York, I think there was a movie like that once, you have to see each other. Meet in Chicago, if need be. Meet in Las Vegas, whatever. But, don't stop seeing each other, because it's that physical contact, that bonding that makes it work. It can't happen without it, please believe me. I've had too many callers let me know, that, unless they see each other, that newness, that excitement, that enthusiasm, wears off. Don't let the enthusiasm wear off, see each other. Make it blissful, enjoy each other. This is Dr. Paul. May your fantasies of today, be your realities of tomorrow."
