"Hi, this is Liz Muller, from Liz's Hair Design, in Hollywood, Florida. In this clip, I'm going to show you how to make ethnic hair flow. Some of the complaints I get when a customer comes to me, and she's new is that when she gets her hair styled at a salon she notice that that her hair doesn't move, you know freely. It actually stays very stiff, and it looks really greasy, and it you know it just stays really stiff as she's walking. It has no bounce. It doesn't move like this. And what I usually suggest and I tell them is when styling the hair, or when you're doing your hair, and when somebody is doing your hair basically is they shouldn't put a lot of product in your hair. You can roller set the hair and use a really small amount of product, a setting lotion or something to make the hair nice and bouncy and give it shine, but you don't have to put grease on the scalp or grease all over the hair. Now, I understand that when you have hair of this texture that sometimes it needs more moisture because it does, but then you can use special masks and stuff to get that hair moisture in the hair. You can use products that have like a sheen to it, and that has like a conditioning treatment to it, like for instance your Moroccan oil you know, that's not very heavy on the hair; just a drop, and what it does is it actually puts that sheen in the hair, and it gives it some body believe it or not. So, that's what you want to go ahead and do when you want the hair to flow and you want the hair to move like this. Don't overgrease the hair. Thank you. This is Liz Muller."
