"Hi, this is Liz Muller, from Liz's Hair Design, in Hollywood, Florida. In this clip, I'm going to show you how to take out your highlights. Now, the process of how to taking out your highlights is a is a pretty long process. You know, we get tired of them and then we want em' gone, and it's not overnight. So you know, usually your highlights could be something a little bit lighter. You could even have darker highlights. If you have darker highlights it's not so bad. Basically, what you're doing is repigmentizing the hair. You're filling it in again, filling it in with what it's missing; your reds or your golds, and you're putting back all that into the hair. You do it several times by adding your tint and your water, and you add that in the hair. You mix it, put it in the hair, leave it on for a certain amount of time; maybe fifteen, twenty minutes. You kind of check it out, rinse it out, come back again, recheck it. You've got to continue to do that for a while, cause' you're making sure that you're filling in; you're putting enough to make sure that it stays in the hair, cause' then you're going to cover it. Now, it depends on what the customer wants. Maybe she wants to go ahead and be a brunette again. Well, that's easy. Maybe you want to do a natural series in there and it'll come out nice and even. Try not to put too much ash in the hair. But there's different methods of going ahead and doing this. Thank You. This is Liz Muller."
