"Hi, this is Liz Muller, from Liz's Hair Design, in Hollywood, Florida. In this clip, I'm going to show you how to switch from blonde to brunette hair. Now, there are different shades of blondes that you see here, and you have the warm blondes and then you have the cooler blonde hair, really goldie kind of hair here. This is an ashy blonde. Now, when you're switching it to brunette you must repigmentize the hair. Repigmentizin', some people call it tint back, is when you go ahead and fill the hair. You want to go ahead and put what it's missing in the hair to go ahead and make it brunette. So what's missing? You're missing some red, because here's your gold, so you're missing red shades to make that gold a brunette. You have to have the warmth in the hair. And then you can choose your beautiful, lovely shades of brunette that you would like in the hair. If you want a warmer brunette maybe you'll add some more warm tones like more red to it, okay? But you're constantly, you're filling in that hair. You might need to go ahead and have the customer come back again and refill that hair because there was pigment missing, and so sometimes the sun will fade it out a little bit. But with good treatment and good care you should be able to keep that. Thank you. This is Liz Muller."
