"The Synagogue windows inside the new Synagogue in Szegged are works of art. The windows on the ground floor illustrate events that takes place during the liturgical year. The most beautiful group of windows, the windows of remembrance, while they're located above the main entrance. The center there is decorated with images of both the old and the new Synagogues. The boat painted in the left hand corner of the old building is a reminder of the Szegged flood back in 1879. The marble plax and two black coffins in the vestibule commemorate the victims of the concentration camps during World War II. For more history of the Synagogue, go online."
