Welcome, I'm Lars Erik Robinson. My company is Lars Arts: All Around Art-tainment. I've been in the business fifteen years, and after graduating Ringling School of Art and Design in ninety-four in Sarasota, I started becoming a freelance illustrator and what we're going to talk about today is fashion. And fashion people. I started with this dress here and that's the first part of fashion, is you actually want to be able to create a mood and how you want this person to be able to hold it. And then the people behind it is actually secondary in modern fashion I would believe because you have to think about the dress that goes on the body but you still have to understand the anatomy of the person underneath. So, really in the fashion thing you don't have to be too emphasized on how the face looks and have too much detail on it 'cause that's not the main - that is actually not the main thing. The main thing is the dress and the mood that you're trying to create. But of course you have to have hair on her, so we have to put a little hair going here. A little face. And what I was trying to create with this is I was trying to create somebody that has a lot of - try to emphasize the curves, and I believe when you have a dress, that's something that the dress tries to do. When I created this movement in the dress, to enhance her curves and her body already. And the hands, you know you just want to kind of get it to go with the form, so that's why I'm drawing the hand going this way 'cause it helps create this movement that we already have going. Fashion. Lot of sweeping strokes, lot of quick drawings, and then they also do it - if you just have this piece here they - you might have a secondary piece that's underneath, you just have separate line drawings off to the side of how the dress by itself looks. And how it continues in the back. You might have - even have a view from back behind of it 'cause maybe it comes further down, so they do all three angles of it. So maybe they show how the back is, this is the back right here, you still have to have a light sketch of how the neck looks. So it gives you different ideas on how to do fashion and how to include people in fashion. Hope that helped you a lot.
