How to Decorate a College Dorm Room for Females

"Hi I'm Ann Myrick and today we are going to talk about how to decorate a college dorm room for a female. You want to, it's always good to visit the dorm room and see the size bed, the set ups. Are there a lot of drawers in the dorm, are there a lot of already areas where you can put things? What does the dorm room have and what does it not have? Another thing to do is if you already are going to know who your room mate is you want to possibly talk to the room mate just to see if you want to coordinate, buy the bedspreads together, buy accessories together to make the dorm room kind of a unified room. That isn't, you don't have to do that but a lot of times kids love to do that. You want to know what the bed size is and you want to be sure that you get the right type of bedding, blankets, sheeting. You want pillows that are going to of course that you can sleep on along with in a dorm room the beds are used a lot for studying so you might want to get several pillows where you can sit and study comfortably. You want a lamp. This is a cute little lamp just for decoration but if you were going to really read and work you would want a taller lamp that gave off more light. Other things to think about are containers like to me the more containers will organize you and you will be able to know where everything is. These are great little containers that you can get at any discount store or retail store so this is a great spot to just put some fun containers. This is a bright apple green that just really puts some zip up here on the wall so it makes it colorful along with very organizational. What you could do is you could label them also. You could put fun labels on them of whether it is Pat's paper work or whatever. So you just want to organize and have great containers that you can put things in and make the room as organized as possible and as functional as possible. Another thing that is really big right now are the real fun decals that go on the walls, palm trees, fun stenciling but you can buy these decals and just put them on the wall.
