"Hi, I'm Ann Myrick, and today I'm going to show you how to decorate a room so it seems bigger. One thing you need to look at is your wall color. A lighter color will make the room look bigger, and also if you have a big space that has, that shares like a dining room and a living room, to keep it all one color. Every time you have a different color, your eye will stop, and so to keep that consistently, and consistency, and to feel like there's a flow, it's better to use one color, and a lighter color. Also, what you want to do, this is a very small room, and what you want to do is you just don't want to over pack your space. I have, I don't have over stuffed, you want to be sure that you don't, in a smaller space, you don't want to use real large, over stuffed pieces. If you already have the over stuffed pieces, you might want to use one, but not the whole set. If you have three pieces, we'll use the couch, but then use chairs that are a little bit tighter, not as full, not as big. You just want to think about each spot, each space for your covering. This is a small area. I have quite a bit of sitting space in here, but because the furniture isn't real over stuffed, or real large, it looks very compact. You also want to keep, if it's a small room, you don't want to just clutter it up. You want a place for things. You want to have interesting accessories out, but not too much. You want to, instead of like over here, this chair is fine with out having any type of table beside because you have a table here where they can put the cups. So you don't want to, you want to make the room work. You want to make the room service people well, but you don't want to over clutter. This is Ann Myrick, and that is how to decorate a room so it seems bigger."
