"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm going to show you some ways to keep your long hair tangle free. When you wake up in the morning, we always have like these little balls of tangles in the back. So if you're not willing to use a leave in conditioner, you want to make sure that when you comb it out you start at the bottom and work your way up. When shampooing your hair, you always want to make sure also that you use a good quality conditioner because you have to think, this hair down here has been on your head several years, so it's been through a lot. It's been through everything you've been through plus some. It's been exposed to the elements, possibly color, and a lot of times we get a lot of split ends. So if you notice that you're having an extremely hard time getting through the last inch or two, it probably means that you need a trim. So you should go see your hair dresser and make sure that you get your hair trimmed to keep up on that. Leave in conditioners are a great way, if a conditioner isn't quite cutting it, if your hair's extremely long, leave in conditioner may not quite do, I'm sorry, a regular conditioner may not quite be enough. So when your hair's wet or even dry, you can spray in a leave in conditioner and just spray it through and that'll help your comb to slide through those tangles. But remember, whenever combing out a tangle, you always want to start at the bottom and work your way up. It's less painful on your scalp and it's also less painful to the hair. Get regular trims, use a good quality conditioner and if need be, a good quality leave in conditioner. And that's how you can leave your long hair tangle free."
