"Hi I'm Amelia and I'm going to talk to you about how to darken your hair naturally. There is really only a couple of options with natural hair color. There is henna but that has got metallic salts in it so you really want to stay away from henna because once you use that you can't really use anything else until it grows out because that is permanent. There is also a few other options if you can go on the internet you can locate some designers who have created their own line of natural hair colors. They are not going to lighten your hair, they will only darken your hair and what that means is that these highlights for example we could cover them but we couldn't add any more. Semi permanent hair color or the temporary rinses, mousses or shampoos are some of the best ways to actually impart color into your hair making it darker, richer, you could add red tones, anything like that will darken your hair but I don't recommend using henna or any of some of the plant based dyes that are out there because like I said once you use those you have to wait for them to completely grow out. You can't perm over that and you can't prelighten that in other words you can't add more highlights if you wanted you would have to let that completely grow out. So unfortunately there is not a lot of options out there as far as natural hair color but there are options for darkening your hair in other ways. Like I said semi permanent, demi permanent, temporary colors, mousses, those types of things that you can find in your local beauty supplies. Anything more than that and I recommend talking to your hair dresser. So that is some of your options for natural hair color."
