"Hi, I'm Amelia, and I'm going to talk to you, how to get a great blonde, and style for fine hair. When looking for a really nice blonde color, first of all, you always want to look through magazines, because what I consider sandy, and what you consider sandy, are two different things, so you may come in and say I want a golden blonde, and I give you something like this. Then, that's all wrong. You actually meant this, so always be armed with a picture, of what you want. Also, really natural beautiful blondes, are always dimensional, so whenever you get that root to end blonde color, it can tend to look a little bit more matte, less shiny. It will make your hair appear thicker, but highlights will actually do that just as well, so you always want to make sure that you keep that hair very dimensional, and what I mean by that, is if you look at this, you see how this model's hair, has got several different colors going through it. That makes it interesting, but also makes the blonde look blonder, and more natural. Also, when it grows out, it's going to grow out a lot more gracefully. Heavier highlights are going to make the hair appear slightly thicker, but what works really well, is when you've got the dimensional blonde over top, and then you've got a little bit of darker underneath, and that definitely makes the hair look a lot thicker. Also, depending on your fine hair texture, and how fine it is, you may want to add some layers, and if your hair is really silky fine, and it tends to show a lot of cutting lines, which you'll know it, because if someone cuts your hair, you can see the line, where it was cut. Then, what you're going to want to do, is you're going to want to go to someone who is point cuts, and what point cutting is, is when you actually go into the hair, and you cut vertically, like that, and what that does, is that blends that line, so that way when it falls, it falls nicely, and you don't see that vertical line, where your hair has been cut. Layering, if it's too much, your hair is going to look really fine at the bottom, so always make sure that your perimeter, is blunt, and then your layers, they can be much more airy, and choppy, and of course, product. Always make sure that you use a volumizing shampoo, that's safe for color treated hair, and volumizing products that are going to thicken the hair shaft, and really give you that volume, but when you have layers in the hair, you can really move it around, get a lot more movement, a lot more volume. Another technique I use, is underneath the hair. I'll add some pieces where it's a little bit shorter underneath, and then the top layer is longer, and by doing that, you can get a lot more volume, because the short pieces hold up the longer pieces, so these are some things to look for, when looking for a nice blonde, with fine hair."
