"Hi. I'm Chris Bryce with superservice.com and I'd like to talk to you about how to clean up Internet Explorer files and browsing history. The easiest way to do this is to either right click on the Internet Explorer on the desktop and go to either properties or internet options, or if you don't have an Internet Explorer icon on your desktop, simply run Internet Explorer and after it pops up you're going to want to go to the tools menu and down to internet options. Once internet options comes up on the front page of that dialog box will be a section of browsing history and the opportunity to click the delete button. When you click delete it's going to open up another dialog box titled browsing history that allows you to selectively delete either temporary internet files, cookies, history, form data such as information that you've filled out in forms that you've filled out online, or passwords. You also have the option of deleting all of that information in one fell swoop by clicking delete all button at the bottom of that dialog box. Once you've deleted what you want to delete in your browsing history that's all you have to do. Now there is a settings area too that you can adjust the amount of information that's stored temporary internet files wise and also history wise. The number of days that history is kept in. You can go anywhere from 0 to 365 days if you want. The default setting is 20 days. The setting for temporary internet files is dependent upon how fast you want internet to load and how many things you want cached as opposed to updating every time you visit the site. The temporary internet files setting can be set between 8 megabytes and as large as you would like. I generally tend to keep mine between 8 megabytes and 50 megabytes. Those are the easiest ways to clean up your internet explorer files and browsing history."
