"Hello. Today we are going to talk about removing bug spatter from your vehicle. As you can see here we have some bug spatter to remove so what you are always going to do is take a product; you can use either an all-purpose cleaner that you have diluted usually to a two-to-one ratio, or you can go and purchase a product specifically designed for removing bug spatter. What I am using here is just an all-purpose cleaner that I have diluted and I am just going to spray the affected area. I am going to take a brush where the bristles are not that stiff so I will not scratch anything. I am just going to brush all-purpose cleaner into the area and this will help loosen some of the bug spatter and what is not loosened by the brushing, then we are going to take a microfiber towel, like so, and just wipe over the affected area. And the microfiber towel is really great at removing stubborn stains without causing any harm to the area that you are trying to clean. Just continue to rub in and if you see that there is a stubborn stain you can always just take your cleaner or your bug removing solvent, spray it down again, and gently wipe again with your microfiber towel. If you need to add a little pressure since we are on a sturdy part of the vehicle you can go ahead and add some pressure. I am going to flip my towel over so I can begin drying it. And as you can see our bug spatter is all gone. And here is another tip: if you don't have any all-purpose cleaner or you do not want to purchase any products from your local auto parts store specifically designed for removing bug spatter, you can use about two teaspoons of baking soda, add it to about a quart of water. Dip a cloth towel into the baking soda and water mixture and then just wipe it right onto where the bug spatter is and it will take it right off. That is a great environmentally friendly way of removing bug spatter from your vehicle and you can use a great use of household chemicals to help clean your car."
