How to Write to a Wall on Facebook

"Hi, I'm Michael Burton with michaelburtonfilms.org, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We're here talking about internet essentials. Now I want to talk to you about how to write to someone's wall on Facebook. Okay, to write to someone's wall on Facebook is really simple. What you're going to do is you're going to go to Facebook, which I've already opened up my account. I'm going to show you how to do this on mine, because I don't want to give away the privacy of any of my friends, but normally you would go to your friends, and...and go into their names for this. But I'm going to go ahead and go into my profile, and again, normally you would go into your friends profile. And right here there's a bunch of options, under "wall, info, photos, boxes, video. Obviously to write on the wall, you would click on the wall. Now, it's not giving me the option here, because I'm on my own wall. But, if you were to click on wall, and another person or a friend's Facebook page, it would give you the option, it would bring down a box, and it would give you the option to write the text, and then on the right it would say "post". So you could post that text to the wall. There are also other things that you can...you can send little knick-knacks, or buttons, pins, things to your friends on their wall by, you know, searching on line for different places where you can go to find that stuff. But this is the best place if you want to post or send a message to your friend's wall is just to click on the wall under their profile, when it shows their photo to the left, that's their profile, and then you'll click on the wall, and you'll type your message, what you want to say, and then click "post". And that'll post it to the wall, and it'll send them an email, telling them they received a post on their wall from you, and then, of course, anybody can view that wall. I believe there's even settings that you can choose if you don't want people seeing whats on your wall, or if you only want certain people seeing whats on your wall, then you can set it to keep that confidential."
