How to Add a Photo to a Blog

"Hi, I'm Michael Burton, with michaelburtonfilms.org, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and we're here talking about Internet essentials. Now, I want to talk to you about how to add a photo to your blog spot. Okay, to add a photo to your blog I use blogger.com, blogspot.com. If you go to the Internet and type in blogger.com that's what will pop up. I've already pulled up my blogger, and I've signed in. I'm going to show you how to post an image. I would go to New Post, and that gives you the opportunity you know, to create a new post including text, video, photo. You can also change font size, change coloring, things like that to spruce up your your post on your blog. Right here; this is your blog menu. Right now, we're currently under the H edit html, which doesn't really make a difference, but that's just so you can read the html code. And if you know how to write html, you can also write your own codes, or we can also just go under compose. To add an image; right here, there's an icon. It's in between the ABC text check spelling icon and the the video, add video icon. This one right here that looks like a little photo; that's add an image, so you're going to click on that, and then right here it gives you a few options. Right here at the top it says Add another image. Right underneath that it says browse, so this is where you would click, and browse, and add an image. Let's see if we can find a generic image here. Here; how about the one with the Eiffel Tower in it. So, we'll choose that. Now, if you wanted to add another image if we were to click on this what it does see is it brings up another browse window, so we can add another image. This down here; where it says choose another, Choose a layout; you can choose to have your photo like here on the left, and then have the text go around it that you're going to add to your your entry. You could also choose to have the photo on the top, and then, have text underneath, or choose to photo, have the photo on the right. We're going to choose to have it in the center. Image size; you can choose the image size, and I am going to choose Medium size. Then, you can choose to lay, use this layout every time. I'm going to go ahead and take that off. And then, we're going to click Upload Image. Now, this may take a few moments, depending on how big the photo is. Okay, now it says that our image has been added. Then, we click done, and as you can see here, here's our, here's our our new post. It's got the photo in it. We can also choose then to, you know, to type underneath that and type in a bunch of text. We could choose a title. Let's put this as Test Blog. Then, down at the bottom we we click Publish Post. Now, up here it says View Blog in a new window, or just to View the Blog. Let's just View the Blog, and it should show our image. Here we go. Here's out entry, Test Blog, our image, and our text; down below."
