"You've heard that one out of every two marriages ends in a divorce and you've decided, I think I want to become a family attorney. Hi, I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer the question How do I become a family lawyer? Well, first of all you have to graduate from high school, attend a four year degree college, graduate from college, make a high enough law school admission test score to be admitted to law school, complete three years of law school, then pass your states BAR examination. And then study family law. There is no specific specialty that requires that you pass an exam to practice family law, although there are certifications if you meet the number of trials, a requisite number of trials, a certain amount of continuing legal education, you can get certified in family law. But other than that you can practice family law without having studied it in law school. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
