"Hi my name is Jim Holland this is EcoWise Austin, Texas. We have been in business for seventeen years. It's a one-stop eco shop, if that makes any sense. So think of a green general store. Paint, flooring, socks and shoes, mattresses. So basically you need in a residential facility to change, make that choice to the green side. We have been doing this for a long time, have a lot of expertise, have a website. Have about eight employees. Been down here on South Congress for many, many years back when it was very nerve racking for people to come down here. Now it's kind of chic. This is a building, it's an old post office. Then it was a garage and it was the first building in town to have rainwater harvesting on a commercial site. And now it's a general store. And as I said before we are basically kind of a reference desk for the library, for green questions. People call us all day long, want to know can they paint this over that, can they seal in plywood etcetera. How do they get off the grid, rainwater harvesting. What kind of plants they should plant. A lot of people are new in town so we take care of everybody from gardening to you know talking about bio-diesel fuel, which we are the biggest bio-diesel seller in the city of Austin and we sell b99 which is ninety nine percent recycled restaurant waste from this community. I try to keep everything local, we try to make all our source materials non toxic, locally made as often as possible, made in the U.S.A. And that's EcoWise."
