"Hi I'm Evan from Gregg's Cycles and today I'm going to talk to you about preventing rust in your frame. One of the best things that you can do for your bike is store it in a covered place. Don't leave it out in the rain, don't leave it out in the weather unless you absolutely have to. Also when you get home from kind of a wet soggy kind of ride out in the rain just go over the bike and kind of wipe it down with a clean rag and get all that nasty rainwater and gunk off the road and that will help deter rust and other types of corrosion. Also one of the other easier things that you can do is pull the seat post out and the fork and both wheels on the bottom bracket and you can kind of spray some frame saver in there and shake it up and spray it down in all the major holes of the bike and then just let it set for a couple of hours and then once it is kind of cured in side all the tubes go ahead and put your bike back together and it will be straight and good to go. Also what you can do is there are coatings that you can put on top of the paint. Those are some steps and some options that you have to prevent rusting and corrosion on your bicycle."
