"Hi, I'm Gretchen Rivas with Relax To The Max Massage Therapy and today we're going to talk about hiring a Massage Therapist. If you're looking for a Massage Therapist, there are several routes you can take, one is referrals from friends. People that have found a Massage Therapist that they really like their work. That's usually one of the best ways. Now if, everybody you know who has not ever received a massage, you can go online and go to amtamassage.org; that's the American Massage Therapy Association website and they have a list of providers, that are their members, they are always licensed and insured through the AMTA so you know you're getting somebody safe with them. And also, there are other places you can go online, to check for those too. But AMTA is, you know, will give you a Certified Therapist. You can check the yellow pages, but when you talk to somebody you want to ask them how long they've been doing massage, make sure they are licensed and you want to ask what type of massage they do. Make sure that there's a fit between the two of you and that you understand what kind of work that they do before you go to see them and that you feel comfortable with them over the phone 'cause actually the first meeting you have is over the phone before you ever even meet them in person. Make sure you feel comfortable with that. And then when you go there, make sure that you ask any questions you may have and that they answer them for you thoroughly and anytime during your massage, if you're not comfortable with anything, it is your right to say no or to say stop and to change the force of the therapy at anytime. And if you have any questions, there's always you know, there are places online you can go to, or you can actually check my website out and I'll help you too. And I'm Gretchen Rivas with Relax To The Max Massage Therapy. Thank you."
