"Hi I'm Gretchen Rivas with Relax to the Max Massage Therapy. Today we're going to be talking about giving a sinus massage. When you are working with somebody who is stuffed up and has sinus issues what you want to do is clear through here but one of the things you would like to do first is clear through the neck and down through here because when you do that it gives room for everything to drain down into the lymphatic tissue. So you want to do a little bit of drainage down through the neck first. Down through here and do a little bit of massage through the collar bone and as you come up through the face you want to work your way around the cheek bones and then around above the eyes. It always feels good to to work down through the nose through here and massage this area in here and it feels good to give the whole face a little bit of massage. You want to work with the way the face drains so you are always going to be working down this way. They may not feel a lot of drainage as you are working on them but when they stand up a lot of this will clear out and they might get even a very nice feeling of unclogging. You also have some good acupressure points in here too that you can use when you are working on this area. So massage a little bit around through here, drain around the eyes, and the nose and down through the neck and that will all help clear the sinuses and you can do this for more than a minute of course and just see how your person is feeling and do it as much as they need it and as long as they need to. That's how you give the sinus massage."
