"Hi, I'm Gretchen Rivas with Relax To The Max Massage Therapy and today we're going to talk about how to give an arm massage. When you're working with the arm, you do want to oil it up a little bit first. You want to get the oil all over the arm, in a nice spreading, stroking motion. Of course, there's many ways you can massage the arms, but, one of the many things I like to do and I only do this at person who doesn't have any shoulder issues, ask first. As I pull the arm up over this way, 'cause this way you can get to the tricep, through here, work this part of the arm and the bicep and do a little bit of resting it. Now we can, they call milking the arm, you get both muscles and all the muscles work out on the same time, you can reach up onto the shoulder and work on the deltoid a little bit this way here, kind of open the arm up and then give it a gentle stretch, that opens the shoulder and the arm up, bring it back down. And you work this part of the arm, the forearm, stroke down this part. A lot of people have tension in the arms now because of the, a lot of computer usage and sitting in desk and typing all the time, makes the arms tender in here, tendinitis a lot. So you can open this up and massage in there. You can always do a cross fiber friction with it. And whenever you're finish, you want to stroke all the way back over and reconnect the person, reconnect the whole arm and finish that nice and like that. And that's how you give an arm massage."
